Moxie Beef Stew

A cozy, classic beef stew with Moxie All-Purpose Seasoning, tender beef, carrots, and red potatoes. Everyone will love this Moxie Beef Stew, especially on those chilly nights!

Ingredients:

  • 1 large pkg. Lean Stew Meat, cubed
  • 1 pkg. Small Red Potatoes, cut into quarters
  • 1 pkg. Petite Carrots
  • 1 Large Onion, cut up
  • 2 Celery Stalks, cut up
  • 1 can Stewed Tomatoes
  • 1–2 cans Tomato Sauce
  • ¼ cup Unsalted Butter, cut into 1 tbsp pieces
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 can Beer (optional)
  • 2 tsp Texas Moxie All-Purpose Seasoning

  • Large Dutch Oven or Pot

Directions:

  1. Cut up your onions, potatoes, carrots and celery.
  2. Season the cubes of chuck or stew meat with Moxie.
  3. Brown the meat with the onions in a large dutch oven or pot.
  4. Add the vegetables, some stewed tomatoes and water.
  5. Add more Moxie and some Worcestershire.
  6. You can add beer at this point. It is optional, but it gives your stew a different flavor that is really good.
  7. Cover and simmer until the meat and veggies are done. Taste while cooking and if needed, add more Moxie or pepper, garlic or Tobasco sauce.
